"A Guide to the Sky: A Practical Handbook for Beginners" by Ernest Agar Beet 1945
This is the 3rd impression of the 2nd edition that was published in 1945. This book was published exclusively for the British military personnel and was not sold in bookstores. This copy came from the library at the Seletar Royal Air Force station in Singapore. What I like about this little book is the planisphere that is built into the back cover. The star map is fixed to the back cover and the horizon mask can be rotated around to different times.
