Prints from Uranometria by Johann Bayer - 1624, 1661
Three prints (Corona, Perseus, Corvus) from the 1661 edition of Uranometria by Johann Bayer. These prints are from the 1661 edition rather than the 1603 edition because there is no text printed on the backs of the prints. These prints were acquired through Sworders Auctions in the UK. I purchased a total of five prints. One of the prints that was attributed to Bayer was actually from John Bevis' atlas Uranometria Britannica. The Serpens print came from the 1624 edition and was purchased through Old World Auctions.
