Early Color Photograph of the Lagoon Nebula taken through the Palomar 200 Inch Telescope in 1961

This photograph is one of a number of pioneering color photographs made by William Miller of Caltech during the years 1958 through 1965 using the telescopes on Mount Palomar. This particular copy was once part of an exhibit at CalTech honoring members of the California Institute Associates.
