Introductio Ad Veram Astronomiam Seu Lectiones Astronomicae by John Keill - 1718
This is the first edition of John Keill's astronomy textbook, which was originally published in Latin. Later editions were published in English, French, German, and Dutch. This was a standard reference for the first half of the eighteenth century. John Keill was Isaac Newton's chief defender in the controversy between Newton and Gottfried Leibniz, where Newton accused Leibniz of plagiarisation of his invention of calculus.
