NASA Planetary Patrol Images of Jupiter

Here are some silver prints of Jupiter that I recently acquired from the NASA International Planetary Patrol Program that were taken at the Lowell Observatory, and some original 35 mm negatives from the San Vittore Observatory near Bologna, Italy. The San Vittore Observatory participated in the Nasa program from 1975 to the program's conclusion in 1981. The attached link describes the observatory and shows the camera used in taking the 35 mm images. I have included a closeup of one of the frames that shows identifying information that was exposed onto the film which gives the date on the right hand side, time from a Bulova watch in the center, and the program name on the left. The paper holder for the film has the observatory name and the Julian date. Most of the single silver prints have the Julian date of the photograph printed on the back of the prints.
