"Mang's Drehbare Sternkarte" c1908
This is a planisphere by Adolf Mang that was made sometime around 1908 according to Peter Grimwood's "Card Planispheres - A Collectors Guide". This planisphere has Sun and Moon pointers, with sliding discs for the Sun and Moon, that were once blue steel but the bluing is now gone. There is a break in the maroon ring near the top and the planisphere is bowed. The instruction booklet is similar to what would have been sold with this planisphere. This booklet dates from 1917 but it applies to this planisphere.
