"Planisphere Celeste Mobile" by Camille Flammarion circa 1915

This is the smaller of the two planispheres published by Camille Flammarion. It has a clear cellophane window to protect the star map. Cellophane was commercially available starting in 1912 so this probably dates to around World War I. Unlike most planispheres the star disk on this one is stationary. The user moves the horizon mask by pulling on a string that is attached to the mask.
