Sternbilder-Buch by Jan Daniel Georgens and Jeanne Marie von Gayette - 1858

The English language translation of the title "Sternbilder-Buch" is "Constellations Book". This is a lovely German coffee table atlas (folio size) from the mid nineteenth century. It contains 78 pages of text, a large foldout planisphere of the northern hemisphere, and 34 constellation diagram pages where the figures are done in a gold ink. The artwork in the constellation figures is very nice.
