The Road Map of the Stars by Albert Ross Parsons - Maps Only - 1911
This is a set of 48 maps attached to a cloth backing. A yardstick is laid next to the unfolded maps for comparison. It was intended as an alternative to the traditional planispheres where the user would take the date and time and look up the corresponding maps to use in the book that accompanied the maps. In my opinion this would have been more difficult to use than a planisphere. No wonder why it never caught on.
