The System of the Stars by Agnes Mary Clerke 1890
This is one of the earliest books that I added to my library back around 1986, which I purchased from a local bookseller. This book was published by Agnes Mary Clerke in 1890 and the frontispiece is a wonderful foldout map of the Pleiades star cluster. She was an Irish astronomer and writer that authored a number of popular and notable books on astronomy and the young field of astrophysics. Some of her other works include "A popular History of Astronomy During the Nineteenth Century", "Modern Cosmogonies", and "Problems in Astrophysics".
