Twilight Talks by Agnes Giberne - circa 1882
This is a lovely children's science book with a decorative green cover that presents the fundamentals of Newtonian physics. Agnes Giberne wrote a number of other science books intended for children. This particular dark green cover probably uses arsenic for its pigment, which was a common green pigment up through the early part of the 20th century.
