Prints from Atlas Coelestis seu Harmonia Macrocosmica. These two prints are from the 2nd edition of the atlas. The print on the left, titled "Corporum Coelestium Magnitudines", illustrates the sizes of the Sun, planets and stars of magnitudes 1 through 6 as they understood them at the time. The print on the right, titled "Haemisphaeria Sphaerarum Rectae et Obliquae Utriusque Motus et Longitudines tam Coelestes quam Terrestres ac Stellarum Affectiones Monsrantia", illustrates the relationship between the equatorial and ecliptic coordinate systems.



The print on the left, titled "Scenographia Systematis Mundani Ptolemaici", illustrates the Ptolemaic System of the Universe and it is the second print from the atlas. The print on the right, titled "Tychonis Brahe Caluculus Planetarum Cursus", illustrates Tycho Brahe's model of the Universe.
