Prints from Bode's Uranographia 1801
Four unbound prints from Johann Elert Bode's Uranographia that was published in 1801. These prints came from an atlas that was never bound. Bode's Uranographia was the largest celestial atlas ever printed. Each print is nearly a meter in width.
Plate IV features the constellations Perseus, Cassiopeia, Triangulum, Andromeda, Honores Friderici, and Lacerta.
Plate V features the constellations Lynx, Camelopardalus, Auriga, and Telescopium Herschelii.
Plate VIII features the constellations Cygnus, Lyra, and Hercules.
Plate XVI features the constellations Aquarius, Capricornus, Piscis Notius, Globus Aerostaticus, and Microscopium.
